Student Liability Waiver
LSN is very selective about instructors and venues. Our instructors are Independent Contractors. While their performances are continually reviewed to ensure you the best possible instruction, the material they present may reflect their personal opinions. These opinions do not reflect the views of the owners, staff and/or other LSN Instructors.
We do not guarantee, expressed or implied, that classroom instruction will result in specific gain for our students. We cannot be held responsible for any loss, material or otherwise, incurred while following an instructor’s directions.
Students take classes at their own risk. Neither LSN nor any of its instructors are liable for any injury or negative outcome you may sustain during a class. LSN provides a variety of classes, each with inherent risks. For example, classes with alcohol (e.g., Wine Tasting, Bartending), food (e.g., Cake Decorating, Creative Cooking), physical activity (e.g., Yoga, Karate), finance (e.g., How to Buy a House, Understanding the Stock Market), wellness (e.g., Learn to Destress, How to Manage Difficult People), enthusiast topics (e.g, Target Shooting, Boating). LSN recommends you consult with a physician prior to engaging in an LSN class and take full responsibility for yourself and your safety.
LSN is not responsible for any personal property left behind at a class.
LSN reserves the right to use photos taken during a class in its advertising.
Although we feature and provide advertisement spots for local businesses, LSN assumes no affiliation or endorsement of that business’ policies or opinions.
Enrollment Acceptance
Learn Something New (LSN) is non-discriminatory, however we reserve the right to deny admission to any student or remove students from any class. Also we do not guarantee locations to be accessible or appropriate for students with special needs. Please ask if you have special needs!
Cancellation Policy
Learn Something New (LSN) reserves the right to cancel classes, modify times, locations, or instructors. Prices are subject to change under certain conditions, however if that occurs students will have an opt-out opportunity.
You cannot cancel, transfer or obtain a credit for classes that say in the description “no cancellations, transfers, or credits apply.”
To cancel your enrollment for eligible classes, you must notify LSN at least 5 days prior to the class.
Cancellations of at least 5 days prior to class:
- a full refund (less $10 cancellation fee) will be provided.
Cancellations less than 5 days from class start date
- a refund is NOT issued, however, a course credit in the amount of the course fee (less a $10 cancellation fee) will be kept on file and may be applied towards any LSN class for a period of six (6) months. You may also transfer to another section of the course for a $10 transfer fee.
- Materials fees are non-refundable with cancellations occurring less than five business days prior to the start date of the course.
Cancellations or transfers must be made by telephone to LSN at 704-625-0868. Cancellations are not managed by the instructors.
If after the first meeting for class, a student has a conflict or finds the class unsuitable for them, please call LSN immediately.
Privacy Policy

LSN receives and stores certain types of information when you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses learnsomethingnewcharlotte.com. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests and future improvements to our Web site.
LSN never shares personal information about you with any other organization for any reason. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features.
LSN will not sell, rent, or give your information to others (except to LSN instructors in the case where they need to contact you for special conditions).
LSN will use your phone number to contact you about class changes or cancelations. We will occasionally contact you about new offerings we feel you may be interested in.
LSN will provide a class roster to the instructors before your class listing your name only.
